Noted Punjabi Pop singer Daler Mehndi has been awarded honorary doctorate by the Victoria Global University, USA.
Mehndi was awarded the doctorate by the university at its 15th convocation on 28th July 2018.
Soon after the honour, Mehndi tweeted, “Humbled and honoured to receive the degree of ‘Doctor of Music’, an honorary doctorate in Music by the Victoria Global University, the United States of America at its 15th Convocation at Embassy of Russian Federation, New Delhi yesterday. Thanks for all your love n support.”

Ltd.
Dr P K Patasani, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) was the Chief Guest of the Function. The function was presided by Dr Abhiram Kulshreshtha along with Acharya Shri Shailesh Tiwari.
The Convocation Ceremony was witnessed by more than 500 audiences along with several dignitaries & celebrities from Bollywood & country.
