Noted Punjabi Pop singer Daler Mehndi has been awarded honorary doctorate by the Victoria Global University, USA.
Mehndi was awarded the doctorate by the university at its 15th convocation on 28th July 2018.
Soon after the honour, Mehndi tweeted, “Humbled and honoured to receive the degree of ‘Doctor of Music’, an honorary doctorate in Music by the Victoria Global University, the United States of America at its 15th Convocation at Embassy of Russian Federation, New Delhi yesterday.
